Business Intelligence Manager

The Business Intelligence team partners closely with the management team/ business functions to understand their needs and then meet these needs by analyzing and translating relevant data into meaningful, actionable outputs.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Planning, the Business Intelligence Manager will lead and manage our team of analysts. In addition to defining and executing analytical projects, key activities for the role involve owning and driving the data roadmap and strategy for the organization, as well as in stakeholder management and team development. Success for this role will be about leading the team in converting data opportunities into value in partnership alongside relevant business stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Data Management**:

- Define and lead the data strategy and roadmap for the organization
- Constantly stay abreast of changing business needs and requirements, aligning sprints to data initiatives that best support current needs
- Develop and maintain a centralized taxonomy of data definitions and tools in partnerships with operational counterparts

Data Projects**:

- Identify business areas or gaps whereby data solutions can potentially shape or guide organizational level decisions
- Lead and develop data
- driven solutions to complex business problems spanning across multiple functions
- Be involved in the implementation of the solution, ensuring alignment to ground processes and business needs

Stakeholder Engagement and Management**:

- Engage with senior management to understand their business needs and translate them into data requirements
- Oversee the design and delivery of the suite of dashboards and analytical tools to relevant business counterparts
- Develop a data culture in the organization, educating cross-functional stakeholders in making data-informed decisions using developed analytical tools

Team Development and Monitoring**:

- Mentor and lead the team of data analysts
- Initiate new avenues of data analytics or data tools to promote continuous growth within function

**Requirements**:

- At least 4 years of working experience, preferably in an analytical field
- Preferably at least 2 years managing an analytical team
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields (i.e. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics) or a related discipline
- Expert in SQL
- Proficient in Python/ R, or other data analytics tool
- High level of self-motivation, with strong desire to deliver quality work that does not compromise with personal standards
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convince and manage stakeholders through logical, data
