Senior Trade Executive, Transpacific

**Summary**:
As the Senior Trade Executive, you will be reporting to the Trade Manager and be responsible for overall commercial activities of assigned service(s) for Transpacific focusing on South East Asia to East Coast. Your role is critical to help your team achieve the overall KPI to maximize revenue, liftings and profitability.

To perform well in this role, you need to be an independent individual who is comfortable with handling high volume of trade at any one time. **Main Responsibilities**:
Allocation Management (80%)

Monitor and analyze vessel performance, loading factors, daily positions and allocation prepared by the Head Office and take necessary actions

Consolidate data and to provide allocation management to Head Office

Monitor and analyze Agents’ weekly vessel profile and weekly performance

Drive agencies to meet their assigned allocations

Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including international freight forwarders and agencies

Pricing (20%)

Assist the Commercial Manager in overall commercial activities of your assigned service

Assist both Regional and Head Offices in establishing pricing policy for Asia to your assigned area

Handle pricing and local tenders’ responses for defined services and Asia areas

Minimum Requirements

Minimum a Diploma Holder and above, preferably in shipping, logistics management or business administration;
2-3 years working experience in container shipping / freight forwarding industry;
Proficiency in MS Excel, specifically Vlookup and Pivot Table highly preferred;
Good knowledge of the container shipping industry

Strong communication skills and customer oriented
