RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist to develop and implement written laboratory test procedures; assist to perform and analyze all testing; assist with completion of research papers; maintain its run data records; assist to prepare test report.
- Ensures compliance with local laboratory regulations
- Assist to implement HSE management system to ensure full compliance.
- Assist to provide day to day analytical, technical and catalyst activity laboratory support to Test Engineer.
- Carry out instruction from Test Engineer for activity test schedule to meet customer demand and expectation.
- Collect and maintain run records then generate test reports
- Assist to purchase and coordinate delivery of laboratory supplies; ensure adequate supply of feedstock, raw material supply and performs other duties as assigned by Test Engineer.
- Assist to troubleshoot process and test related problems.
- Upon request by Test Engineer to liaise with equipment vendor for maintenance contract, plan and schedule maintenance shutdown.
- Assist to submit all necessary monthly job data including utility and raw material usage data to finance
- Implement preventive maintenance program, equipment calibration and ensure laboratory equipment are well maintained with minimum downtime.
- Incorporate ISO 14K & 9K into existing system.
- When necessary assist to identify area for improvement, include cost reduction, run efficiency, method and implement CAPEX project.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level. Those with 1 to 2 years of working experience in oil & gas industry is preferred
- Highly motivated individual with good working attitude and able to work with minimum supervision
- Team player with good initiative and effective communication skill.
- Safety conscious, attention to details and comfortable with numbers
- Basic problem-solving skill
- Knowledge of general laboratory practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, EXCEL®, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of chemical and workplace safety in oil & gas industry is preferred
- Willing to work in 8 hours rotating shift
