**Profile**: Science Laboratory Technician
**Contract Period**: 1 January 2026 - 25 December 2026
**Option to Extend**: 26 December 2026 - 25 December 2027
**Address**: Punggol Central, Singapore

**Working Hours**
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am - 4:30pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays

**Scope of Services**
- Maintain general cleanliness and ensure functionality of the Science laboratories and equipment.
- Monitor and manage stock-taking of equipment and Science resource materials.
- Maintain a catalogue of laboratory resources to assist teachers in planning Science activities.
- Prepare laboratory materials and resources to ensure experiments are carried out effectively.
- Assist in preparation, setup, and dismantling of apparatus and equipment for lessons.
- Provide in-class support to teachers during Science experiments.
- Keep accurate records of loaning and returning of apparatus.
- Provide support during Science Olympiad lessons.
- Perform administrative duties such as collation of teaching and learning materials, and preparation of resources necessary for Science lessons.
- Support teachers during Science Practical Assessments.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Science Department.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Laboratory Technician/Assistant.
- Prior experience in a primary school setting is highly advantageous.

**Desirable Qualities**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with teachers, students, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Well-organised, meticulous, and detail-oriented in executing tasks.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $1,518.74 - $3,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Lower Secondary Qualification (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Laboratory Technician/Assistant.: 2 years (preferred)
- primary school: 2 years (preferred)
