The Senior HR Manager serves as the senior advisor to key executives in APJ. They will report directly to the APAC HR Director and provide a broad range of HR services including coaching and employee development, talent management, change management, policy development, workforce planning, compensation & benefits and employee relations. They will develop strong relationships with the leadership teams and employees within their client groups, with cross-functional key stakeholders, and with our global HR team, to help us achieve amazing business results.
- A trusted advisor and strategic partner to the assigned countries and business units, consulting with line management on all employees related matters including but not limited to talent reviews, performance management, employee relations, succession, compensation planning, employee development and trainings.
- Participate as project team member on global HR initiatives in the development, design and execution of corporate HR programs and projects, including conducting of trainings and change management.
- Close collaboration with talent acquisition and line management for recruitment in alignment with talent strategy and budgets. Participate in the selection process as needed.
- Drive consistent HR processes and policies or enhancements that support the business and complies with local regulations and corporate requirements.
- Be responsible for the effective day-to-day operation of HR, ensuring efficient processes and policies are in place through leveraging technology and HRIS (Workday)
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations or other employment-related legal issues through conducting a thorough, objective and effective investigation in accordance to labour regulations and market best practices.
- Support the successful achievement of the action-oriented deliverables in response to the Employee Engagement survey
- Develop and build consistent HR processes that support corporate functions and complies with local business and corporate requirements
- Function as HR Lead for the region in organisational transitions
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years as an HR Business Partner with “on-hands” experience in talent management, employee relations, performance management, HRIS, change management, training and development.
- Must have regional experience in the following countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Japan, Korea, Australia
- Strong communicator and stakeholder management.
- Experience working for a Global Company with HQ in the US and recent experience working for an IT Software Sales or Services organization is essential; experience in companies integration is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to align HR programs to business goals and objectives in a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrate effective organizational development abilities such as coaching, career development and conduct trainings.
- Strong problem solving, decision making, employee relations and conflict management skills.
- Ability to lead, influence and drive priorities with senior management. Possess effective communication and change management skills and demonstrate versatility to adjust style to suit the situation/audience accordingly.
- Strong customer-focused orientation
- Thinks independently, challenges the status quo, proactive in raising ideas for improvements or efficiencies. Possess a strong growth mindset and can-do attitude.
- Workday processes and system knowledge is essential
- Fluent in English both written and verbal. A plus if have fluency in Japanese or Korean
- Ability to travel as required.
