**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to help us build and nurture online communities across social media and community platforms. In this role, you will kickstart discussions, foster engagement, and create positive interactions within our user communities. You will focus on platforms such as Discord and Reddit, helping to grow and manage active conversations that directly influence our product development.

In this role, you will work closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure that user feedback is communicated effectively and that the community is aligned with our brand and product goals. This freelance/part-time role is ideal for someone with a passion for community building and a desire to create positive user experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Community Building and Engagement**:Help establish and grow our community on key platforms such as Discord and Reddit. Engage with users by sparking discussions, answering questions, and encouraging participation.
- **Moderate and Foster Positive Interactions**:Act as a moderator, ensuring that discussions are respectful and productive. Create an inclusive environment where users feel comfortable sharing feedback and engaging with the product.
- **Collect and Report Feedback**:Regularly gather feedback from community discussions and share key insights with the product and marketing teams. Identify emerging trends and user concerns that could impact product development.
- **Organize Community Events and Polls**: Create engaging events such as polls, Q&A sessions, and discussions to encourage community participation and gather valuable user insights.
- **Monitor Community Sentiment**:Track conversations to ensure user satisfaction, responding promptly to questions or concerns. Keep a pulse on community sentiment and report back on key trends.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Active and engaged user communities on Discord, Reddit, and other key platforms.
- Regular feedback and insights gathered from the community that influence product and marketing strategies.
- Increased community engagement through organized events and discussions.
- Effective moderation that ensures positive and respectful interactions.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:1-2 years of experience in community management, social media engagement, or moderating online forums.
- **Skills**:Strong communication skills and an understanding of community-building strategies. Able to engage users across multiple platforms.
- **Community Engagement**:A passion for building and managing online communities, with the ability to foster positive and inclusive environments.
- **Tools**:Familiarity with platforms like Discord, Reddit, and other community engagement tools. Basic understanding of social media management tools.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience managing or moderating communities for mobile apps, tech products, or gaming platforms.
- Ability to identify trends in user feedback and translate them into actionable insights.
- Previous experience with organizing online events or interactive community content.
