DESIGNATION : Agile Delivery Manager, SG

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Position Description**:
The Agile Delivery Manager will report to the Core Platform Delivery Manager within the IT Department. Their work will be focussed on delivering one (or more) projects and ongoing enhancements and change to JERAGM’s Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Applications i.e. Allegro, ZEMA, IMOS and associated interfaces to MO and Finance systems.

They will work with the users and IT teams to determine the demand for change across this system landscape and then be responsible for the execution and delivery of the identified work. This work will cover new projects, ongoing change to the existing systems, support and maintenance (such as major upgrades to vendor systems).

They will be part of a global team and will work with users in London and Singapore. They must be comfortable and adapt their style as needed to manage different types of IT delivery team including:

- **Small agile teams** g. Scrum Master / light-touch Project Management facilitation of semi-autonomous agile teams (Workstreams) made up of JERAGM staff including BAs, Developers and Testers
- **Large IT/vendor teams** g. Project Management of hybrid JERAGM / Allegro teams following a controlled process to plan, build, test and release large / complex changes

The specific responsibilities will include:

- **Managing prioritisation**:

- Work with the Core Platform Delivery Manager and Business Analysts to establish an effective prioritisation mechanism with the business teams across various types of change.
- Ensure clear definition, agreement, and management of scope with business and other IT stakeholders.
- Maintain an understanding of the implications of changing business needs on the IT roadmap.
- **Managing Workstreams**:

- Facilitate sprint planning with workstream teams to establish sprint goals.
- Manage resolution of 3rd line support incidents with mínimal disruption to the sprints.
- Lead and coach Agile principles and practices, using a variety of tools and techniques to optimise the team’s flow of delivery.
- Maintain focus, motivate and encourage the team and protect them from external distractions.
- Remove impediments and act as servant leader.
- Perform sprint reviews with team and stakeholders to review achievements against goals.
- Facilitate regular lessons learnt retrospectives to promote a good learning cadence within the teams.
- Develop stakeholder relationships and support stakeholder management activities.
- Establish and track Agile metrics to optimise throughput including throughput, velocity, cycle time and lead time
- **Delivering Projects**:

- Lead project mobilisation including developing the resourcing strategy for delivering various types of change and working with the Core Platform Delivery Manager to engage vendors.
- Ensure projects and ongoing change are delivered on time, within budget and meet the expectations of the project sponsor(s).
- Perform day-to-day management of project teams working closely with their Line Managers including the Business Analyst Lead (BAs), Solution Architect (Developers) and Release & QA Manager (QA).
- **General Delivery**:

- Provide general delivery leadership to achieve defined and agreed objectives.
- Ensure proactive communications to all internal and external stakeholders to manage the journey of change.
- Ensure the business change impacts are considered for all functional and technical changes.
- Use JERAGM IT processes and tools including MS Teams, Confluence & JIRA.
