**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-grade financial software systems.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions across trading, portfolio management, and risk domains.
- Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with architectural vision.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
- Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices.
- Integrate IT security principles into all stages of software design and development.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews of architecture.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Engage with stakeholders across product, compliance, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

**Required Skills & Experience**:
**Technical Expertise**:

- Proficiency in **Java**, **C#**, **C++**, **Python**, **JavaScript**.
- Experience with **ReactJS**and/or **AngularJS**for front-end development.
- Strong understanding of **AWS Cloud Services**(EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with **DevOps**, **CI/CD pipelines**, and **containerization**(Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep knowledge of **software architecture patterns**(microservices, event-driven, layered architecture).

**IT Security & Compliance**:

- Experience implementing **secure coding practices**, **identity and access management (IAM)**, and **encryption protocols**.
- Familiarity with **security frameworks**(e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience with **security monitoring**, **incident response**, and **vulnerability management**.
- Knowledge of **regulatory compliance**in financial systems (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, GDPR).

**Financial Domain Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with **financial asset classes**such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, or commodities.
- Understanding of **trading workflows**, **market data**, **order management systems**, or **risk analytics**.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

**Preferred Extras**:

- Experience with **Kafka**, **Redis**, **ElasticSearch**, or **GraphQL**.
- Exposure to **quantitative modeling**, **data science**, or **machine learning**.
- Certifications such as **CISSP**, **CISM**, or **AWS Certified Security - Specialty**are a plus.
- Work on cutting-edge financial technology solutions.
