Telenor Asia in Singapore is set up as an ownership unit to oversee each of the four main operating companies (OpCo) in Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Telenor Asia is made up competency centers covering 1) GRC, HSS & Sustainability; 2) Business Competency; 3) External Relations and 4) People & Operations. In addition, there are Investment Manager teams responsible for oversight of each OpCo.

Telenor Asia is looking for a Director BPM which will be part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) unit within the broader GRC, HSS and Sustainability competency center. As Director BPM, you will be primarily responsible for development and implementation of the BPM (third-party management) framework and processes to ensure systematic and risk-based approach to managing risks, issues and behavioral gaps in Asia. You will be supporting stakeholders across the organisation including Telenor Asia Management and Board, OpCo Board and Investment Managers).

We are now looking for a new colleague in the position **Director - Business Partner Management (BPM)** to join Telenor Asia.
- As a _Director - Business Partner Management (BPM)_, you will have the following responsibilities:_
- Working closely with the Vice President, GRC in setting the direction and ambition for BPM, which includes Supply Chain Sustainability (SCS), to assure activities and focus on a responsible supply chain across the Asian businesses.
- Working closely with the Health, Safety & People Security (HSS) unit to ensure that HSS aspects are being sufficiently addressed and followed up towards Telenor’s business partners in Asia.
- Working closely with the Sustainability unit to ensure that relevant aspects, with a particular focus on Human Rights, labor laws as well as Climate & Environment priorities are being sufficiently addressed and followed up towards Telenor’s business partners in Asia.
- Assessing and reporting a consolidated Asia view of BPM compliance to Telenor Asia Management and Board.
- Designing and rolling out BPM training and awareness activities including developing tools and templates to build a compliance culture and systematically support the implementation of the compliance program.
- Advising and assisting OpCo(s) with implementation of BPM policies and manuals, including ensuring sufficient focus and continuous improvement in activities relating to HSS, Human Rights, Climate & Environment, and anti-corruption.
- Supporting the OpCo(s) in raising standards and focus on continuous improvement in BPM-related activities.
- Working with Investment Managers and OpCo functional teams to ensure that the BPM framework and processes are implemented, adheres to Telenor policies, and are working as intended.
- We think you have the following qualifications and skills:_
- 8+ years of experience working on BPM and SCS-related fields.
- Strong SCS experience in monitoring supplier performance including conducting supplier inspections and audits will be an advantage.
- Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality deliverables.
- Strong language skills, including excellent written and spoken English. Ability to communicate effectively and influence diverse groups of stakeholders, from top management to OpCo working level.
- Confidence to take ideas forward, communicate complex issues to a non-expert audience, and ability to achieve consensus.
