Financial Controller

**Key Responsibilities**:Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the company and group.

Deliver insightful analysis on monthly financial statements for both company and group, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal financial policies.

Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

Drive the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, analyzing and explaining significant variances.

Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.

Proactively identify and mitigate weaknesses in financial processes and risk management strategies.
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions.Develop and implement cash flow forecasts, optimizing financial resources and ensuring liquidity.

Build and nurture relationships with financial institutions to secure financing and negotiate favorable terms.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to enhance financial efficiency and profitability.

Evaluate major expenses, capital expenditures, and investment opportunities through cost-benefit analysis.

Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.

Collaborate with senior management to shape and execute long-term financial strategies and objectives.

Support business expansion initiatives through financial analysis, feasibility studies, and strategic recommendations.

Provide financial expertise for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate initiatives, including due diligence processes.

Actively assess and mitigate financial risks, developing contingency plans to safeguard the company's position.

Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, CFO, and senior executives, offering clear and actionable insights.

Communicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across departments.

Drive system improvements and technological upgrades to enhance the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is required.
- Strong experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ( **GAAP**).
- Minimum of 5 years in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
- Exceptional analytical and technical accounting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver on tight timelines while managing competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
