- Keep control of the cash (if any), alcohol storerooms and other limited access areas.
- Demonstrate suggestive selling and up-selling.
- Keep proper inventory and requisition of bar stock.
- Make entries in the Bar Log book.
- Always maintain professional confidentiality.
- Makes sure that all products served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
- Clears tables throughout the guest’s experience in accordance with the hotels standard operating procedure.
- Adjusts service to suit guests’ requests and personalizes any interaction with them.
- Supports review simulation processes and update evaluation criteria for a smooth operation.
- Take guest’s order, provides suggestive selling and repeating of orders. Have a full knowledge of the menu.
- Well-versed in handling all credit card, cash or room charge transaction in the restaurant.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standard consistently.
- Understands and can communicate facilities and services available in the hotel.
- Anticipate guest needs and strive to exceed guest expectations.
