ASM is embarking on the implementation of S/4HANA system and is looking for a Project Management Specialist, who has deep business domain knowledge and insights, to lead the business team in standardizing, harmonizing and streamlining business processes, while we implement the S/4HANA solution throughout the entire organization. He/She should have an influential personality to convey their ideas across and articulate to the different levels in the organization. He/She is pragmatic, empathize with the daily issues that the users are facing, and able to break down the functional silos and collaborate across end to end processes to achieve the target performance. He/She is independent, driven to get the job done, yet sensitive to the cultural, political, demographic as well as the different stakeholders’ potential reaction to change.

While S/4HANA will start from FEMS, it will roll out to other ASM sites subsequently. The Project Management Specialist should also play a key role in these roll-outs to ensure that local requirements will be adequately captured and all sites will swiftly adopt the global business process.

The Project Management Specialist will be part of S/4HANA business transformation team and report to Global Business Global Manager.

The role of the Project Management Specialist involves mainly:

- Work closely with the S/4HANA Project Program Director, PMO members, OCM members, vendors, business and IT team, senior management sponsor and executives
- Manage complex project/s throughout the global enterprise, leading project team members in the design, development, and delivery of technology and business solutions
- Build schedules, establish communication plans, manage risks/issues, and measure or report project results
- Facilitate creative efforts to resolve issues and develop quality deliverables to achieve corporate objectives
- Partner with stakeholders and teams to prioritize project requirements and issue resolutions to ensure successful delivery of project scope
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including key-users, cross functional departments, external consultants and key stakeholders.
- Lead project team members located in multiple countries
- Work in close collaboration with global PMO to ensure projects execution follows and adhere to ASM project delivery methodology (IT-PLC).
- Supports global PMO to develop the Project Management (people, process, templates etc) capabilities in ASM.
- Educating business users on best practices employed globally within the industry
- Eliminating difficulties users face in their daily routine of operations
- Review, update and approve to-be business processes in alignment with the company’s culture, environment, requirements and processes
- Challenge status quo by offering pragmatic and efficient processes
- Monitor and measure performance, effectiveness and efficiency of specific core business processes
- Identifying, documenting and testing new business and exceptional scenarios
