Chief Commercial Officer

Reporting into the CEO, the Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for EDMI Group Sales & Marketing strategy and business development, working with CTO office, Product and Solution Management and regional sales teams, to ensure that the sales strategy is aligned with the Group’s vision and product roadmap.
He/she will have responsibility for creating customer centric strategies that build long-lasting and profitable relationships, driving regional alignment and synergy, and achieving global sales and profit targets. The strategy will define a road map of where the Group wants to be in the future in relation to sales and how it will get there.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with regional sales teams, product management and CTO to define, manage and communicate the Sales & Marketing/Solution and Product strategy.
- Drive market research, competitor benchmarking and customer surveys, and execute strategies in line with evaluations of this research.
- Define Solution proposition and roadmaps, commercial frameworks and pricing.
- Develop and drive business planning and budgeting, requiring cross-functional interaction with key stakeholders across the Group.
- Oversee pipeline management and forecasting of key customers and opportunities across all functions in the global organisation.
- Develop Global Brand Strategy, Market Action Plans, Competitive Brand Positioning, and Global Product Portfolio Management and Simplification.
- Oversee global marketing and communications activities, both internal and external.
- Identify valuable emerging markets, threats and opportunities, accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace, both on a global scale and also for the individual regions that can influence strategy. Develop sales strategy to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
- Oversee global sales activities and ensure sales performance across the Group is achieved. Deliver strong sales growth while working cross functionally and across multiple geographies.
- Communicate regular updates on key performance indicators to the management team and key stakeholders.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
- Previous experience and proven track record as a Commercial Director or similar leadership role. Experience in Energy industries or Utility sectors will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking abilities with a problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership skills in strategic planning, goal setting, process development, budgeting, and professional development within commercial teams.
- Strong work ethic with guiding principles of transparency, integrity, honesty and accountability.
