We are seeking a Channel Manager, located in Singapore.
To achieve the sales target of FARO products within an assigned territory through a non-direct channel of distributors, guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policies.
- Research, identify, and recruit distributors for the sale of FARO products.
- Evaluate and monitor distributor’s results and behaviors in the marketplace to ensure the results and behaviors exceed FARO’s expectations.
- Responsible for achieving distribution sales in the assigned territory
- Enlists the support of FARO functional team and management resources as needed to ensure channel partners/customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Responsible for maintaining excellent relationship between channel partners and FARO internal department of the company to build business
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Manages potential channel conflict with internal sales team and other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
This position requires
- Diploma/Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent;
- Possess at least three years working experience managing a non-direct sales channel;
- Possess knowledge of 3-dimensional measurement, surveying, point clouds, and/or computer aided manufacturing (CAM);
- Computer literate, good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively individually and as a team member
