Joining a fast growing start-up isn't like taking a 9 to 5 role in a big company—the impact, learnings and growth here are magnitudes higher, but so is the pace.

As a product designer, you will own product design quality, best practice, vision, strategic initiatives and outcomes at Hypotenuse. You will work in a highly collaborative manner, exploring the needs of our users and creating impactful solutions.

In this role, you will:

- Conceptualise, prototype and design new features and UI/UX solutions for our web platform to enhance user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and define key visual requests and implementations
- Use research methodologies to turn customer feedback, competitor analysis, user research, and industry trends into actionable insights and deliverables
- Understand design guidelines and UI/UX patterns to generate relevant professional output that is usable, consistent and intuitive for customers
- Design concepts, graphics, collateral and layouts that will go onto our apps and marketing content

**Requirements**:

- Strong portfolio demonstrating an eye for design, logical thinking and shipped work
- Proficiency in design tools (eg. Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Sketch etc..)
- Self-starter with a bias for action. You’re scrappy and get things done despite limited resources or non-ideal circumstances.
- Customer-obsessed. You care deeply about user experience and are passionate about building beautiful designs for customers.
- Tenaciously inquisitive. You place personal ambition as one of your biggest priorities right now and have an internal drive to work hard, commit, and grow.
- Highly adaptable. You learn fast, can adapt quickly to changes, and work both independently and collaboratively.
