Assistant Manager, Customer

We are looking for a passionate and professional Assistant Manager to join our Customer & Channels Insights & Analytics team.

Based in Singapore and reporting to the Deputy Director, the incumbent will deliver customer-centric insights for Safer Play and build foundational capabilities for data science methods to enable insighting and prediction.

**What You'll Do**
- You will build internal expertise on Safer Play in the academic literature as well as latest industry developments, deliver analytics and machine-learning models for Safer Play, primarily using internal data but also integrating other sources where useful e.g. primary research, develop rule-based flags for triggering follow-up targeted engagement with identified account holders.
- You will propose key metrics by which to monitor customer play behaviour, measure effectiveness of Safer Play targeted engagement initiatives, quantify their impact/value in the context of overall business strategy and develop recommendations on how to build Safer Play elements into other customer engagement programs where appropriate.
- You will work with relevant stakeholders to build capabilities using Python/SQL and machine learning to support analytics, insighting, and predictive modelling to enable targeted customer engagement for Safer Play, including the enhancement of existing tools and platforms, ingestion of new data sources, and overcoming any technical challenges associated with data sources.
- You will engage and partner the business to identify key business issues and improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis, influence internal stakeholders to take action through clear and relevant communication of insights and support data analytics teams and various business units with figures/data cuts where required and support the business in preparing related presentation / communication materials to educate and inform external stakeholders regarding our Safer Play initiatives.

**Who You Are**
- You will need at least a degree in Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- You will need at least 3 years of hands-on work experience in causal analytics (especially A-B testing) and predictive analytics, particularly productionized machine-learning models.
- Experience in marketing, customer lifecycle management, campaigns or gaming industry is an added advantage.
- You should have hands-on experience with analytics using Python/Spark and other relevant programming languages, machine learning modelling using very large data sets in enterprise data warehouse and/or data lake, and building new data science capabilities using new data sets, algorithms/libraries and packages, and/or programming languages, collaborating with data engineers / machine-learning engineers to implement and operationalize them.
- You will need strong verbal, written and Powerpoint presentation skills, strong stakeholder management skills
- You should have a highly logical & systematic mindset and be a team player yet independent & fast learner.
