Lead Software Developer

We are seeking a **Senior Java Developer** to ensure the quality and efficiency of vendor-submitted code.

**Responsibilities**
- Review and analyze vendor-submitted code for quality, efficiency, and best practices
- Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for code improvements
- Collaborate with vendors to address issues, implement solutions, and ensure the code meets our standards
- Develop and maintain code review guidelines and processes
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Quality Engineers on user stories, test automation, and bug fixes
- Participate in architectural discussions to influence system design
- Work with the deployment/DevOps team on continuous integration, build, and release automation
- Review source code scan reports and address issues with vendors
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure vendors translate them into architectural specifications
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations to the team
- Continuously research emerging technologies and propose appropriate changes

**Requirements**:

- At least 9 years as a technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception to maintenance
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience in designing and developing reusable components, microservices, containers, and Kubernetes
- Proficient in Java, containers, shell scripts, various operating systems, and databases (Oracle)
- Proven experience in DevOps and CI/CD adoption and deployment
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders

**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of other programming languages
- Familiarity with OpenShift Container Platform
- Understanding of SWIFT architecture and its systems
- Experience with Singapore's payment system
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Java, AWS solution architect, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge in change management and business process improvement
