The mission of the Meta Risk and Payments team is to serve our global community by providing payment support and protecting individuals and businesses against financial abuse. Within the Risk and Payments team, Risk Fraud Investigations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day fraud management for Meta’s suite of payments products. The team oversees monitoring & alerting processes and performs detailed root-cause-assessments on metric movements. We are responsible for analyzing and documenting new fraud trends, scaling operational workflows, driving improvements workflow labeling & quality, and supporting escalations management.The role is based in Singapore.

**Fraud Investigator, Risk Operations Responsibilities**:

- Monitor dashboards to identify fraud trends, undertake root cause analysis to evaluate impact in chargebacks and revenue leakage
- Scale operational workflows related to enforcement, driving improvements to vendor labeling & quality
- Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to solve problems at scale and implement effective countermeasures to eliminate fraud based on these identified patterns
- Document, organize, and communicate known trends to cross-functional Teams and leadership
- Align trends with vendor partners and update labeling protocols
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics, and understand root causes of change

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 4+ years doing quantitative analysis in an adversarial space such as payments fraud, sanctions & compliance in financial services, trust & safety, payments or other relevant industries
- Solid SQL skills, with proven experience drawing insights from data
- Experience and knowledge of utilizing fraud investigative techniques and practices
- Experience with high pressure escalations, ambiguity and gray areas, and collaborating with teammates to quickly resolve issues

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl) or Haskell a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
