DESIGNATION : Executive, Technical (Dry Docking)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Head of Dry-Docking Team with planning, organising and record keeping.
- Compile, check and correct all daily, financial, progress, quotations received from various stakeholders.
- Liaise with Internal Fleet and TECOS Managers as required by the Head of Dept
- Liaise with Projects Team in Hafnia Copenhagen for Energy Saving device retrofits or other projects to be included in the planning.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders and arrange meetings as required.
- Collate DD quotations received from various global shipyards and prepare a cost comparison for further negotiation for Head of Dept approval
- Regularly update 4 -Year Gantt Chart for dockings, both In-House and TECOS Fleet.
- Request contractors to provide quotations and carry out cost effective repair work ashore and onboard ships, check invoices and supporting documents received for the work.
- Monitor that the Dry-Docking is being carried out in accordance with the Hafnia Dry-Docking Guidelines.
- Keep track of various Life Extension projects ongoing in the Fleets and monitor costs.
- Keep track of fleet stock items kept at various locations and bulk supplies.
- Scrutinize dry docking work done lists and invoices and prepare shipyard negotiation sheets in preparation for final negotiations.
- Process department paperwork including e-filing of certificates, firm up letters, reports, agreements, contracts and final MOUs.
- Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to the Company “Vision, Purpose and Values” to be “Best on Water”
- Manage ad-hoc tasks and projects as and when required

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or equivalent
- 2 years relevant experience in a Shipyard, Repair Company or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of procurement of marine technical services preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with strong time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team setting
