Lead High-Impact Landmark Projects Drive Technical Innovation & Design Excellence About Our Client Well established engineering design consultancy firm is recruiting for an experienced Technical Director/Director to lead their design engineering practice for complex, large-scale building projects in Singapore. Job Description The Technical Director/Director will play a key leadership role in shaping technical excellence, mentoring teams, and driving innovation across projects. This is a strategic position with a strong focus on design leadership, client engagement, and business development.Provide technical leadership and oversight across multidisciplinary building services projects. Lead the design and delivery of complex projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation. Act as a technical authority in your discipline (electrical or mechanical), supporting project teams and clients. Collaborate with directors and project managers to develop strategic growth plans and win new work. Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing the firm at a senior level. Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and sustainability goals. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). Professional Engineer accreditation preferred Minimum 10 years of experience in building services design, with a focus on large-scale, complex projects. Strong portfolio including healthcare, mission-critical (e.g., data centers), and high-rise developments. Proven leadership in technical delivery, team management, and client engagement. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
