The Manager/Assistant Manager, Industry will be the external-facing representative of University of the Arts Singapore (UAS) as the University seeks to meet new industry partners for potential collaborations, internships, and graduate recruitment. The role will involve mapping industry sectors that have creative jobs but are not necessarily engaged in the arts. This may include sectors such as technology, consumer products, online shopping, financial companies and banks, startups, and disruptors of all nature. The Manager/Assistant Manager will be responsible for meeting external companies in an effort to build UAS’s brand and name recognition, while concurrently marketing UAS interns, collaborations with UAS involving students, and expanding the range of companies represented at the UAS Career Fair.

The Manager/Assistant Manager will also be on the UAS Industry Panel, assessing collaboration proposals coming into the University. They will work closely with forward deployed Industry Managers representing LASALLE and NAFA in the identification and implementation of collaborations and projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute strategies to establish and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Identify potential partners and cultivate strong relationships to enhance academic and industry synergies.
- Coordinate and manage collaborative initiatives that align with the University's mission and goals.
- Represent the University at industry events, meetings, and conferences to promote partnership opportunities.

**Qualifications & Work Experience**
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in business development, industry engagement, or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing partnerships and relationship building.
- Strong background in business development, with experience dealing with clients or external organizations.
- Excellent communication skills and a pleasant disposition.
- Passion for advancing academic and industry synergies.
- Outgoing personality, comfortable with meeting staff in external events.
