The MyHR Specialist is based in the Singapore and reports to the MyHR Regional Manager for Asia. The role serves as the “Face of HR” to the general population of employees and managers, and therefore play a critical role in the development and evolution of the Air Products employee experience. This MyHR team is responsible for ensuring that HR support and HR operations meet the organizational objectives, is rapidly responsive to employee and manager needs, and integrates with the other functions within the HR team for consistency.

**III, NATURE AND SCOPE**

The MyHR Specialist will support employees and managers while performing duties in support of a variety of HR programs. Examples include, new employee orientation/onboarding, offboarding, program administration (eg medical insurance, vehicle allowance, etc..), Workday administration and maintenance, eMOC process for HR policies and procedures, compensation, and benefits.

Individual will handle employee and manager inquiries on policy/procedures/processes, workplace complaints, and investigations, and resolves the inquiries swiftly and efficiently with the remaining exception cases escalated to HR process owners, Communities of Expertise, and HR Partners.

The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, high performance, and work ethic to drive to completion, as well as the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization to understand and resolve issues.

**V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

This position is accountable for the following end results:

- Handle employee & manager inquiries, requests & cases, responds with accurate resolution upon first contact, or, if necessary, conducts the appropriate investigation and/or research to identify and present the appropriate resolution. In exception cases, escalates request by escalating HR cases to HR Process Owners, CoEs or HR Partners
- Manage workload efficiently to fulfil commitments in accordance with established service level agreement (SLAs)
- Execute employee life-cycle HR processes, ie pre/onboarding, transfers, compensation & benefits administration, absence, and separations and system, etc
- Prepare Compensation and Benefits data for survey participation.
- Liaise with Payroll team for leave and payroll related matters.
- Manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy, including workplace complaints, conduct appropriate investigations and Integrity Line complaints assigned by Global Asset Protection.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for HR policies, procedures and processes, including interpretation and updating of the employee handbook and change management relating to policy updates
- Support Regional HR team in the preparation of HR reports, presentation data and materials for meetings
- Prepare knowledge-based documents such as summaries and responses to frequently asked questions
- Develops core competency in HR tools and programs (Case Management Tool, Workday, LearnEx (AP's learning portal), and systems in support of specific HR programs, etc.) to be able to support employees and managers in day-to-day activities.
- Develop and expedite recommendations to improve and streamline HR processes based on employee and manager experience.
- Be the Face of HR to bring the desired employee experience to life by partnering with HR Leaders, CoEs, and HR Partners on process execution.
- Provide proactive support to employees for HR programs.
- Instill company philosophy, culture, and core values.

**V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A bachelor’s degree/Diploma in human resources management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Operations, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge in Employment, CPF, Income Tax and any other labor regulations
- Outstanding organization and analytical skills with attention to details and the ability to act independently.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills with good spoken and written English,
- Good interpersonal skills. Empathy and ability to relate to diverse personalities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidential and employee privacy information
- Leadership capabilities - positive outlook, supervisory experience, sets and maintains high standards, works collaboratively with teams.
- Presence - ability to represent the company, be a credible source of information, and influence understanding and positive outcomes.
