Accounting Senior Representative

**Position Title**: Accounting Executive
**Job Purpose**: This is an operation and administrative support role covering confidential employee information and statistical data. The role manages payroll/expenses budgeting reports, forecasting, headcount/attrition data reports, compensation and benefits review, payroll administration including liaison with Finance and Audit, survey submissions, complying with regulatory requirements on maintaining of proper employment records, adhering to Fair Employment Guidelines, etc. The role includes supporting the full suite of employee onboarding and offboarding processes, working closely with Talent Administration Team and vendor management such as benefits vendor, payroll vendor, tax consultants, etc.
**Reports to**: Head of Human Resources, Singapore and Australia
**Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results**:
Prepare monthly and ad hoc headcount, attrition and other statistics/reports.
Prepare the quarterly/yearly budgeting and forecasting exercises, including the provision of payroll, bonus accruals and department’s budget. This includes liaising with Finance and troubleshooting and reconciling the numbers.
Supports the Annual Compensation process and mid cycle and ad hoc reviews
Prepares letters on salary, promotion, transfers, certification of employment, termination, etc
Supports in reviewing employee benefits
Supports in the review of Policy/Guidelines and Employee Handbook to ensure it is aligned to changes in regulations
Medical and Insurance administration / enrollment / termination for Singapore and Australia
Payroll maker for Singapore and Australia, and prepare reports for the various Finance departments and provide statistics as requested
Works actively with Payroll Vendor in year-end tax reporting/filing for Singapore and Australia to meet regulatory requirements
Involve in Payroll migration project and other enhancement activities
Provide logístical support for Talent and Succession Planning
Coordinates in organization initiatives and supports cultural and staff engagement activities, including DEI, Health & Wellness activities, etc
Support Learning and Development Planning and Coordination
Vendor management support for payroll, compensation and benefits, employee employment/dependant pass related matters
Support in MAS reporting, and all survey matters
Onboarding local orientation, including assigning of new hires’ buddy
Employee P-file creation and maintenance
Setting up of workday information for new joiners and timely updates of existing employees’ transactions in workday
Offboarding matters including managing the exit interview statistics, preparing the final pay computation and going through with leavers. This also include preparing acceptance of resignation letters, termination letters, providing support in redundancy related matters
Review operational efficiency within department
Leave cover for department colleagues
Ad hoc duties as assigned

**Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements**:
Minimum Diploma required
Preferably with at least 3 years of HR experience in the financial services industry
Experience in HR operations and payroll
Strong numerical skills
Excellent MS Office skills, especially in excel
Strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication
Possess a can-do attitude with strong sense of ownership
Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision and able to deliver quality work within a quick turnaround time
Ability to work under own initiative and proactive in recommending and implementing process improvements
