Singapore NEC ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. Full time

NEC is looking to hire an Innovation Consultant who will work across every stage of Experience Design - from creating personas to conducting user research to ideation and prototyping. This role is an exciting one where the Innovation Consultant will work with a diverse set of clients in Singapore to shape and innovate forward-looking customer and employee user experiences.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct research to generate critical user requirements and insights. This includes quantitative (eg survey and questionnaire) and qualitative (eg interview, focus group and usability testing) research
- Plan and lead Design Thinking sessions with multi-disciplinary Scrum teams. This includes
- Framing problem statements, ideating, prioritising and visualising ideas
- Crafting UX deliverables like personas, experience journey maps, service blueprints, storyboards, user flows, etc
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Work under a tight timeline within agile sprints
- Draft user stories arising from ideation sessions
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain the project product backlog

**Requirement**
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Has a pulse on technology trends
- User-centric problem solver with business acumen
- Proficient in Design Thinking and related deliverables
- Background in UI/UX and is able to demonstrate design principles
- Proficient in using related tools like Miro and Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Scrum ceremonies and working in Scrum teams comprising product owners, designers, developers and testers to inform and influence solutions that will delight and benefit users
- Strong stakeholder management
- Proficient in English

Advantageous to possess the following:

- Portfolio of project themes like gameplay for children, wildlife, conservation and sustainability
- Interest and/or experience in behavioural insights of children, including what it takes to engage and retain child users for gameplay
- Working knowledge of Figma and Jira
