Vice President

Location: Near Raffles Place MRT

Working Hours: 5 Days' Work Week

This role is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in our Front Office and Middle Office.

**Responsibilities
Perform Budget Planning, Budget/Expense Control & Business Strategies
- Ensure local and overseas offices in APAC region meet the target KPIs by implementing the business strategies.

Prepare & Submit Regular Reports to Local Senior Management, HQ and Regulators

Communication with Internal, External, HQ and Local Regulator's Auditors
- By providing requested documents and by responding to queries.

Update Department SOP & Procedures
- According to regulatory changes in Singapore or other APAC countries

Covering One of Below Teams (Rotational Basis)

1) Corporate Banking
- Review credit documentation to meet local and HQ's requirements.
- Assist in client due diligence and financial analysis.
- Prepare and submit market info to HQ.
- Maintain strong relationships with international, regional and local commercial banks to ensure responsive client service.

2) Credit Review

a. Review Credit Applications from selected APAC countries
- Review the key info of the Borrower and the Guarantor, which are submitted by Front Office (Corporate Banking).
- Review & assess clients' financial & non-financial performance of the Borrower and Guarantor (if applicable).
- Obtain approval for the Credit Applications.

b. Prepare Monthly Dashboard to Monitor Loan Portfolio
- Update the Dashboard on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy in risk control and monitoring of our bank’s portfolio. The Dashboard comprises info on loan covenants, financial covenants, financial statements, loan-to-value ratio and insurance coverage ratio, renewals and policies.
- Inform all related departments of any breaches / non-compliance and the necessary follow-up actions to be taken.

3) Treasury

Leading a small team to
- Originate cross border funding, investment secureties, FX & derivatives opportunities in Asian region.
- Ensure liquidity management for local branch.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Masters' degree in Finance, Business or Accountancy.
- At least 8 to 10 years' Corporate Banking, Credit and/or Treasury experience.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and good communication skills.
- Strong financial analysis and writing skills.
- Understanding of banking guidelines and regulations in Singapore and a few other Asia countries.
- Familiar with a wide range of different corporate banking product types.
- Knowledge of a variety of industries, especially within Asia region.
- Strong oral and written English proficiency.
