**About this Role** - **Assistant Vice President/Vice President, Credit Risk**

Genesis Trading is seeking an Assistant Vice President/Vice President, Credit Risk with a strong background in counterparty credit risk evaluation, reporting directly to VP/SVP, Credit Risk. The AVP/VP, Credit Risk will determine the creditworthiness of existing and potential clients who transact in lending, OTC, and derivatives products. The AVP/VP will also contribute to the design, augmentation, implementation, and management of credit risk-related initiatives.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Perform in-depth analysis utilizing credit data and financial information to determine exposure level and assign risk ratings
- Prepare credit memos to communicate recommendations and document decisions on lending/borrowing and credit quality
- Conduct credit due diligence conference calls and on-site meetings
- Assemble and synthesize data needed to run risk management models
- Assist in augmenting credit risk management frameworks
- Collateral management - tracking movement of collateral, monitoring and issuing margin calls/refunds
- Work closely with Operations on transfers of digital assets and associated collateral
- Liquidity management
- Liaise with internal groups across the firm on initiatives as necessary

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years in credit risk management underwriting financial institutions
- Experience in modeling and implementing credit rating models
- Working knowledge of collateral determination and margin call procedures
- Proven track of designing and building risk reports in a real-time setup
- Strong understanding of financial markets and products
- Experience with credit agreements and ISDA/CSA
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with the business while willing to challenge if needed
- Experience with structured products is a plus
- Experience in capital markets and/or digital assets is a plus
- Experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus
