**The Global Dealer Learning Sr. Training Consultant evaluates, develops, and administers training and development programs to improve dealer’s sales, service and leadership effectiveness and productivity. Provides counsel and facilitation services and develops and delivers learning materials.
- Research information and new material to be used in updating and developing new course presentations, practical tests and associated assessments.
- Conducts high-level needs analyses to resolve training and performance issues and problems and recommends appropriate course of action.
- Collaborate with internal partners to Develops new training processes and customizes existing training and development programs.
- Performs multifunctional training activities with various levels of management.
- Supports regional training & learning events, with up-to-date information, equipment, training, and course material.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience. In addition, three to five years of job-related experience are typically required.
- Knowledge and understanding of current training delivery, training needs analysis and training material production techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and influence a diverse audience - ability to collaborate and provide guidance to diverse team to deliver results within aggressive timelines.
- Experience working with Caterpillar learning and development programs that impact dealers
- Knowledge of the Global Dealer Learning programs and tools
- Formal experience in developing measurement plans, dashboards and metrics
- Strong business acumen. Understanding of Caterpillar’s business model and corporate strategy.
- Ability to facilitate and speak in front of groups.

- Relocation assistance is **not **available for this position.
- Travel requirement is 0-15%
