Manager, Hybrid Cloud Operations

**Position Summary**

**Manager Hybrid Clud operations **, will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and operation of our hybrid cloud environment (private and public cloud).

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage virtulization technologies vSphere, vSAN, VMC etc.
- Lead Cloud operations and implementation efforts
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, reliability, and security of our hybrid cloud environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document cloud operating procedures and policies
- Monitor and manage the health, capacity, and utilization of hybrid cloud resources to ensure efficient operations
- Identify and resolve any issues or incidents related to the hybrid cloud infrastructure, working closely with our technical teams
- Investigate emerging technologies, new engineering techniques, and leverage opportunities that drive continuous improvement of the service and its use in solutions
- Drive automation solutions & opportunities
- SME for Operating System and Virtuliation technologies
- Interact with cross functional teams to ensure complete delivery of solutions
- Stake holder and partners management

**Other Duties & Responsibilities**

Manager Hybrid Cloud operations must have 8-10years above hands-on experience on virtulization and 2-3 years of public operation and support.

He/She must understand cloud security and governance to ensure J&J data is protected. He/She much understand cloud services and platforms to maximize and leverage potential of the services, know how to combine services, and also know how to identify when the service should be used in solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the continuous improvement and evolution of the hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with the IT leadership team to align the hybrid cloud strategy with the overall IT strategy and business objectives
- Participate in budget planning and cost optimization initiatives for the hybrid cloud operations
- Work closely with the security team to ensure that the hybrid cloud environment meets all necessary security and compliance requirements
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, evaluating new solutions, and managing service level agreements (SLAs)
- Lead and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing exercises to ensure business continuity in the event of an outage or disruption
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to hybrid cloud operations and make recommendations for process improvements or technology updates
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Conduct performance evaluations for the team members, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues and troubleshooting activities

**Qualifications**:
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor in Computer Sciences or equivalent
- 4-5 years of related work experience in large enterprises preferred

- Analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of cloud security and governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of agile development processes
- Strong understanding software development/engineering (including DevSecOps)
- Strong Understanding of git, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud observability
- Must be able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to management effectively
- Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Must be able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others with little supervision
- Must be able to influence others
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Must be results driven, a quick learner, and a self-starter.

**Percentage Traveled: 10-15% **dependent upon project assignment.
