JR22999 Manager - IT Cloud Operations

The Manager of IT Cloud Operations is a key leader responsible for leading a global operations team in India. The team is instrumental in driving our transition to building a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) as we continue our multi-year journey to becoming Cloud Native. The work will include operationalizing, maintaining, and updating all aspects of the hybrid cloud platforms. This includes our public cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS) and private cloud (on-prem), for production and dev/test environments.

Primary goals are to deliver agile and secure services on cloud platforms, to ensure high availability of the service, provide advice and guidance on all technical matters, to continuously increase the level of automation to ensure high quality, ensure financial goals are met, and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

The Manager of Cloud Operations is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acts as a single point of contact for Global Hybrid Cloud Operations. Responsible for managing both public (Azure, GCP, AWS) and private (on-prem) cloud operations.
- Leading a team of professionals, responsible for maintaining hardware, software and services that support business processing requirements in our private and public cloud environments.
- Work closely with security operations to maintain the proper security posture.
- Partner with risk and business continuity teams on Disaster Recovery plans and activities.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our public & private cloud by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. Applies revisions to host system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support activities.
- Lead a team who are responsible for maintaining Public & Private Cloud operations.
- Collaborate with team members and managers of other departments to resolve problems.

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of experience in managing IT operations and operation teams
- Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud concepts, technologies, and services
- 3+ years of experience in leading Hybrid Cloud Operations (including Cloud transformations & Migrations)
- Experience in building strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience of hybrid cloud environments - public cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS) and private cloud (on-prem), including creating and scaling environments
- Intimate technical knowledge of at least 1 major Public Cloud Service Provider (Azure, GCP or AWS) and Private Cloud technologies (OpenShift, VMware, etc), a Platform Administration certification is required
- Familiarity with infra and workload provisioning pipeline technology stacks (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Python, Ansible, Jenkins, CloudBolt, etc)
- Familiar with common programming languages, database technologies and IDE’s (.Net Core, C#, C++, SQL, JAVA, Python, etc)
- Deep knowledge ITIL processes and ticketing systems, like ServiceNow.
