**Overall Responsibilities**:
Asia Pacific (except China) membership sales including, but not limited to direct sales solicitation, coordination with the marketing team, production, accounting, customer service and related functions and services. The position will also require the individual to sell/promote sponsorships and events for IAAPA’s in person and virtual events and education for the region (and globally when applicable)
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Participate in setting sales targets for membership, events and sponsorship sales for IAAPA Asia Pacific Region.
- Work with the team leaders to facilitate sales and marketing processes as assigned to reach and exceed targeted sales goals. Assist in creating membership marketing campaigns.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries regarding costs, materials, sponsorship specifications, deliverables, balances due, deadlines, etc.
- Coordinate the processing of sponsor contracts, respond to all incoming sales and manage sponsorship requests and needs
Maintain and update IAAPA’s membership and sponsorship prospects database for Asia Pacific and support the membership coordinator to maintain the members database.
- Research and contact new potential sponsors and membership prospects and maintain relationships with existing ones.
- Assist in creating and distributing sponsorship kits, flyers, and sales collateral as assigned.
Provide input and assist in the budgeting process for membership and sponsorship for the region.
- Create the scheduling of sponsorship materials due dates, and other deadlines as assigned.
- Assist with the processing and remittance of invoices, track payments, and follow-up with delinquent accounts.
- Prepare and maintain reports on monthly sales activity and statistics (Activity Report) and distribute as required to appropriate team members.
- Detail-oriented data entry specific to membership and sponsorship sales, tracking, layout, and billings.
- Attend applicable industry tradeshows and company events as approved.
- Conduct onsite membership and sponsorship sales, service, and support at IAAPA events in Asia Pacific as approved.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
**Qualification, Knowledge, Skill Required**:

- College degree business, marketing or related
- 5-7 years in sales experience, international events experience preferred
- Professional demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and one other Asian language preferrable (Japanese, Korean, Hindi etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the preferred experience of CRM databases (ex. Fonteva).
- Capacity to foresee problems and to seize opportunities to correct issues with swift and autonomous follow-up.
Competent to handle multiple ongoing projects, and complete duties by strict and constant deadlines.
- Required to be extremely detail-oriented and able to balance several assignments simultaneously.
- Self-starter and ability to work with a team as well as by oneself with little supervision.
- Must have a calm demeanor under pressure with the capability to interact with members, non-members and colleagues and handle challenges with diplomacy and courtesy.
