**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work collaboratively with the Singapore bureau and other offices. Write original, forwardlooking news and analysis for daily and weekly services that help position Energy Intelligence as

a leader in strategic and financial information for the energy sector.
- Lead strategic and analytical coverage of Asia’s energy and climate policies and corporate

strategies, especially in China, Australia, Japan and South Korea, with a secondary focus on

Southeast Asia.
- Analyze energy transition trends and write agenda-setting stories on how policymakers and

companies are navigating the pathway to net zero
- Lead coverage of the intersection of the hydrocarbon and new energy sectors
- Develop as a thought leader on energy transition strategy and policy trends throughout the

region.
- Some Travel Required
- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which may reasonably be required of you.

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**
- Excellent writing skills
- The ability to prioritize and deliver daily, weekly and long-term assignments;
- Strong analytical skills to identify and explain key trends;
- A comprehensive understanding of relevant technologies and sectors such as solar, wind,

electric vehicles, biofuels, hydrogen, carbon capture and carbon markets;
- A proven track record of primary source reporting and breaking exclusive news;
- Strong verbal skills to conduct interview and present information through videos and webinars;
- The ability to identify and cultivate new sources at the highest levels of the private and public

sector;
- Experience gathering and working with data preferred;
- Willingness to engage directly with clients on corporate strategy issues in a confident and

professional manner;
- At least five years’ experience as a journalist, analyst or another information-related position;
- Bachelor’s degree or other relevant professional training/diploma or equivalent experience
