**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leading the decarbonisation project to increase data centre capacity in the business's key markets.
- Overseeing the development of a green hydrogen project in Singapore, which is already in the advanced stage of feasibility work, with MOUs signed and initial government engagement completed.
- Managing the Transition to Net Zero strategy to achieve 24/7 carbon-free energy, including public thought leadership, partnership development, capability development, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with major global internet and technology firms to revolutionize energy sourcing, utilization, and infrastructure deployment to accomplish business's sustainability goals and net zero targets.
- Negotiating and executing a carbon project in official partnership with Southeast Asian government partners.
- Managing a budget of S$10m for the project's delivery within the next 12-18 months.
- Identifying and developing strategic energy infrastructure investment and contracting opportunities, including large-scale BESS or co-located renewable projects, working with Design and Customer teams on feasibility and project development, and leveraging external partnerships
- Identifying and leading business's engagement opportunities with industry bodies and regulators to make Net Zero a standard in the hyperscale data centre industry.
- Collaborating with energy solution providers and partners to develop energy solutions to address customer requirements such as 24/7 renewable offerings, firming offers, hourly matching capabilities, and on-site technology deployment.
- Working with internal teams, including Design, Commercial, and Corporate Development, to validate and integrate energy solutions into technical and commercial business requirements, and support crucial initiatives.
- Developing briefing materials for the Executive group and Board on key initiatives such as the carbon project, green hydrogen project, and progress on the Transition to Net Zero.

**Key Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relevant fields such as decarbonisation projects, net zero targets and roadmaps, carbon-free energy sourcing, carbon offset projects, energy storage, and energy case analysis.
- The ability to develop and present crucial initiatives to senior executives and investors.
- A strong understanding of utility and electricity markets, particularly in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.
- A good grasp of global climate and carbon initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and presentation, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
- A high level of motivation and collaborative spirit for the role.
