Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience working in strategy or consumer technology
- 2 years of experience in the retail industry in APAC

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience leading complex strategic initiatives across various geographies
- Experience in structuring/discussing complex agreements
- Understanding with the APAC Industry ecosystem
- Ability to present ideas to c-suite level internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand complex technical and product concepts
- Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate business, financial, and other points of value with partners as well as internal Google teams

**About the job**:
In this role, you will drive partnerships across the industry ecosystem with a specific focus on driving in-market impact via close collaboration with in country teams and product areas across the organization.

The Industry Solutions team works very closely with the in-country cross-Google Partner Managers and Product Areas across Google Ads, Google Cloud, Google Play, and others as well as the Global Partnership Solutions teams to develop solutions for key Partners, with a focus on enabling partnerships and finding business growth streams with existing partners.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop Google partner relationships by fostering innovative partnerships through ideation, best-practice sharing, and co-pitching of opportunities with in-country partnership teams.
- Drive Industry Leadership andPartner collaboration by contributing to first-party industry events and/or third-party event sponsorships, and support research project. Find common policy goals, and create long-term Google advocates.
- Enable Google agreement making by advancing global agreement archetype development in the Commerce sector to grow the partner’s and Google’s business.
- Drive Google alignment and enablement by developing narratives, thought leadership and strategic guidance, and enabling successful community activities.
