**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- To study, plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, Original Equipment Manufacturer, Contractors, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources.
- To work with Lead Technicians and Engineers in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance.
- To troubleshoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiatives, and drive cost management.
- To study for any implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach such as proactive initiatives via predictive and preventive maintenance activities, and default actions such as failure finding, redesign and run to failure.
- To study and review budget, monitor spending against budget and control cost.
- To understand the risk registers, take part in safety walk downs, implement safety initiatives and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties’ maintenance work.
- To develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution.
- To gain knowledge in Plant Fire System and Electrical System (MV Switch gear, LV MCC, UPS, Soft Starter, VSD, etc)
- To coordinate and be involve in part of the Company Emergency Response Team
- Operation and Maintenance of CCP3 Banyan power plant
- Troubleshooting, protection checks, commissioning and testing of electrical systems
- Engineering review of electrical structure.
- To prepare list of motors, switchgear, UPS, Battery banks, relays.
- To list down and organize test reports of electrical systems.
- To work with engineers for upcoming CCP3 Banyan 2025 Major shutdown jobs.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

- Good team player and able to deliver results within tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proactive in keeping up with new technologies and looking for solutions to optimize plant operations
