**Job Scope**
- Assess and evaluate the various non-financial risks that the business face in its operations.
- Implement action plans, policy and procedural changes for risk avoidance and mitigation.
- Assist business owner to identify, assess, document, manage and monitor their risks, controls and mitigating actions, where applicable and ensuring adherence to company’s risk management frameworks.
- Ensure periodic review of risk limitation and control strategies as to reflect non-financial risk profile accordingly using appropriate strategies, in light of the overall risk appetite.
- Ensure and evaluate consistent alignment between risk appetite and overall mission statement and business objectives to meet obligations to stakeholders.
- Review and assess non-financial risk frameworks, guidelines, programs, process for the organization.
- Drive various non-financial risk frameworks including the relevant and supporting policies/ guidelines for the company.
- Review of the company’s risk profile periodically with the implementation self-assessment of risks and controls.
- Work with business / support units to complete company-wide risk management deliverables (i.e. RCSA, Incident Management and Reporting, Third Party Management Due Diligence and Risk Assessments, and BCM related matters) within set timeline.
- Provide risk oversight by reviewing assessments from a risk perspective, and escalate issues identified.
- Prepare and conduct various risk management related trainings and awareness sessions / communications

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management and equivalent
- Minimum 4 years’ of relevant working experience
- Familiar with industry recognized risk framework
- Familiar with MAS requirements on risk management
- Experienced in dealing with internal and external auditors
- Good understanding of insurance business and operations
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop engaging relationships with cross functional units.
