We are looking for an excellent design leader who has a willingness to initiate and drive the change needed for our products and within our design & development culture. We need someone with a profound background in designing for large scale product development, who can set the standard for excellent design and design practices to bring together all the SAP S/4HANA solutions and products.

This role, reporting to the head of SAP S/4HANA User Experience organization, is an extremely influential and strategic role, and is needed to improve our design leadership in the SAP S/4HANA area, and work with all our major stakeholders on design direction, strategy and concepts for this vital area of SAP’s product portfolio.

**Summary & Role Information**
As a Chief Designer (M/F/d) in the SAP S/4HANA UX organization you will help drive, consolidate and define the strategic direction of design within the SAP S/4HANA organization. We need someone who will work with us to accelerate everything we need to have a better end user experience in our cloud products. Together with our 100+ designers working across our complex and diverse portfolio you will help:

- Bring to life our design strategy, working closely with the SAP’s overall Design organization
- Understand the end-users needs and transfer it into a modern product experience
- Define key requirements to help us push the needle for UX within SAP S/4HANA
- Align our designers within SAP S/4HANA
- Ensure our SAP S/4HANA UX teams needs are closely aligned with our product area partners in the SAP S/4HANA, Design and Technology teams

This is a chance to do concepts work with our designers who work in the product teams, and a chance to see the products and drive change together with our designer and engineering teams in SAP S/4HANA.

**Experience / Role Requirements**
We need a designer who must already have at least five years’ leadership experience operating and driving large scale, global, enterprise design projects. Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Products is also extremely desirable to enable us to move the needle for design in this area.

Collaborative, result-driven & well organized while acting with a high degree of service-orientation, this great team player must also join us with a positive mind-set, excellent communication skills and a strong ability to network. The ability to work and communicate effortlessly at all levels is essential, with executives, development teams, and with our great design talent. Your main focus? Ensure that our customers have the best experience possible which moves them to, and keeps them happy to continue to, use all the products in the S/4HANA public cloud.
