Climate Lead

Formative Search is partnering up with a start-up climate tech company. They are growing their team in Asia and are looking for a Climate Lead in Singapore. The Climate Lead will be responsible for supporting and providing strategies to build their decarbonization platform.
**What will the Climate Lead do**:
- Work with Founders to craft an effective and actionable strategy for building their decarbonization platform
- Be the voice of a Trusted Advisor and Domain Expert to our customers and help them craft their decarbonization plans
- Be the voice of the Company for all things climate through your social media activity
- Represent company at Climate industry events
- Build and develop a team of climate experts, along with the intellectual property with data points and LCA studies for real estate sectors
- Meet with allied companies and understand solutions to continuously update our decarbonization solution set
- Work closely with Marketing team to construct content and performance marketing strategy for the company
- Build and maintain a world-class climate team as per company’s business plans
**How will the Climate Lead look like**:
- At least 5 years of experience in climate and decarbonization space with either a top tier consulting firm or building & leading a corporate decarbonization program
- Experience in real estate, building energy management & systems will be a plus
- Deep understanding of GHG and PCAF accounting standards, LCA processes and Emission Factors’ datasets
- Executive presence and strategic thinking to represent company’s in front of leading industry enterprises and at events
- Be a critical thinker, the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-growth start-up environment
