As a Business Analyst you will lead and facilitate the analysis of project initiatives and/or opportunities which contribute to the improvements in business processes, policies, and information systems. Initiatives may include a systems development component, process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Analyse and articulate the key business drivers / issues underpinning an initiative / opportunity
- Critically evaluate the root cause of business issues to assist with the definition of business requirements and solution option generation
- Create, review and update reference materials such as processes, procedures, training and user manuals resulting from changes
- Engage internal and external stakeholders in the facilitation process of building business and/ process mapping to enable business requirement definition.
- Gather business requirements through interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
- Capture business requirements in the form of User Stories with Acceptance Criteria and BRDs
- Ensure that business goals and objectives are fulfilled through appropriate solutions
- Analyse gaps between needs and current capabilities
- Facilitate and contribute towards the arrival of appropriate business solutions
- Ensure that appropriate communication methods are used to achieved shared understanding of, and agreement to, the solution requirements
- Communicate requirements to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with and provide necessary support for the successful completion of SIT & UAT testing of the proposed solutions.
- Support, analyse and manage issues/defects with vendors and other stakeholders
- Effective communication for the management and resolution of issues/defects
- Demonstrate and share BA best practice

**What We Are Looking for in You**
- Certification in Business Analysis viewed favourably
- A degree in business relevant IT, a business discipline or relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business or Technical Analyst role
- Experience in Financial Services, with Mortgages or Asset Finance highly desirable
- Desirable: Experience of working within an Agile environment
- Desirable: Thirst for learning and knowledge. Active in the Agile community
- Desirable: Competency in Jira
