**Reporting To**:Farm Operations Manager

Mireia Singapore Vanilla is a family-inspired business passionate about sustainability and producing high-quality vanilla. With farms across Singapore, we grow organic vanilla and other produce, embracing sustainable farming practices and fostering a connection between nature and communities.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farmer to join our team. As a Farmer at Mireia Singapore Vanilla, you will play a key role in cultivating, maintaining, and harvesting vanilla and other organic produce. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of sustainable farming and delivering the finest products to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cultivation and Maintenance**:Plant, prune, and maintain vanilla vines following sustainable agricultural practices.
- **Harvesting**:Hand-pollinate vanilla flowers during the blooming season.
Harvest vanilla beans and other crops at the appropriate time to ensure quality.
- **Farm Operations**:Prepare soil, plant new crops, and maintain irrigation systems.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of farm equipment and tools.
- **Sustainability Practices**:Implement eco-friendly methods in daily farming activities.
Participate in composting and waste management efforts.
- **Quality Assurance**:Ensure all produce meets Mireia’s high-quality standards.
Document growth progress, harvest data, and any pest or disease occurrences.
- **Teamwork and Collaboration**:Work closely with other team members to meet farming goals and deadlines.
Support community events, educational tours, and farm-to-table initiatives.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**:Prior experience in farming, agriculture, or horticulture is preferred.
Knowledge of vanilla cultivation is a bonus but not required (training provided).
- **Skills**:Passion for sustainability and organic farming.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- **Traits**:Team player with a positive attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
