Roles & Responsibilities
**Job Summary**

Responsibility includes but not limited to, the sales and marketing of the Product Line including forecasting, product margin, promotion and executing product life cycle management.

In addition, be part of the team - to actively collect, and provide local market/competitor information to support development engineering and manufacturing activities, in support of the Group’s long-term strategic objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the sales and marketing of Precision Robotics direct drive motor product and precision stage solution business, including new product launches, product margins, revenue and sales strategy planning with local sales team.
- Maintain and manage local market pricing, to enable sales to increase market share and ensure sustainable business.
- Plan/Co-ordinate the preparation of Customer Requirement and Product Requirement as appropriate. Define the architectural strategy and content of the product line, including performance objectives and functional specifications with cost, price and reliability objectives.
- Responsible for coordination with Sales, Commercial Marketing, Training / Support Teams and other groups as appropriate to implement the plans. Product promotion and product introduction including sales training. Also responsible for literature plan, and product training plan to achieve Business Plan objectives for assigned products.
- Attend/Support technical symposiums, trade shows and exhibits on industrial control systems to maintain knowledge on available and competitive technology and for presenting papers and seminars as appropriate to promote products.
- Prepare competitive analysis and formulation of competitive counter strategies for all new products and existing products.
- Consolidate success case studies from local market to share, and leverage best practices from other countries.
- Support sales engagement of potential customers to help close sales opportunities, and attend industry events to stay updated and relevant with market trends and needs.
- Act as the voice of the customer/market to the engineering team and Product Manager in Singapore.
**People Requirements**
- Requires bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering and/or business, or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience, balanced between technical execution and commercial leadership.
- Automation industry knowledge required, with control system linear motion and precision stages background desired.
- Proficient in core Microsoft Office products.
- Able to work independently and self-driven personality to achieve results.
- Proven ability to work with internal and external organizations and deliver results to the market.
- Willing to travel
