Payments and Monetization Consultant, International

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in the payments field, including cross-border payments, international growth, or consulting with international clients.
- Experience with relationship management in sales, consulting, or related fields.
- Ability to speak and write in Mandarin (business-level) and English to work with customers in the Greater China region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in advertising sales or marketing.
- Experience successfully influencing and working with executives internally/externally and adapting messaging and presentations to technical audiences of all levels.
- Experience growing and developing scaled programs.
- Experience driving, prioritizing multiple initiatives, and presenting to executive leadership.
- Knowledge of the payments domain from a merchant perspective (e.g., chargeback processing, decline management, alternative payment methods, etc.).
- Ability to work in matrixed stakeholder structures and/or manage complex internal/external relationships.
**About the job**:
Our team helps to support advertisers along the various steps of their international growth journey. We identify opportunities at scale across customers and markets, and roll these insights out efficiently across the globe.
In this role, you will be a trusted cross-border payments and international growth partner to our advertising clients. You will advise clients on their export potential, collaboratively developing strategies to maximize that potential through Payments to deliver incremental growth for customers and Google.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage the overall Global business Solutions Payments program, delivering consultations to clients across Google’s advertising business.
- Capture learnings to optimize and scale and develop the Payments program through collaboration with marketing, product, and other internal teams. Develop industry knowledge and external relationships to evolve the program to meet customer needs.
- Consult with customers to provide specific, data-informed, and actionable advice to improve international payments setup across devices, conversion rates, and business results.
- Develop the Payments provider ecosystem by effectively managing relationships with the existing partners, as well as identifying and onboarding partners to support across additional payment challenges.
- Collaborate with business teams and International Growth Consultants on client services, summits, and engagement plans. Contribute to business/scalable pitches that can incorporate Payments insights and opportunities.
