**Responsibilities**:

- Provide legal advice to support the business, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating of a variety of commercial agreements, in particular SaaS (digital payments) agreements, and may include third-party vendor agreements, outsourcing, services and corporate group structuring agreements.
- Provide end to end legal advice and business-oriented solutions to senior stakeholders from business development, finance and tax, relating to new payment products and features.
- Manage a team of inhouse counsels that provide commercial legal advice on payment matters globally, including dotted line reporting from the regional counsels.
- Respond to enquiries from the business functions, including the International team, Business Development, Management, Finance, Tax and Treasury about legal and contractual obligations.
- Maybe required to assist with cross-functional projects.
- Instruct and manage external counsels, where required.

**Requirements**:

- At least 7 years PQE, with experience gained at a reputable leading law firm
- Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating cross border commercial transactions or agreements
- Strong drafting, negotiation and client communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and risk assessment capabilities, with good judgment and commitment to delivering results
- Leadership and experience managing a team required
- Experience within Fintech industry will be advantageous
- Highly organised, independent, and has excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle pressure and work to challenging deadlines
