**Head of Information Technology**

**Our Client**:
A boutique capital markets company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the Manager-In-Charge of the Information Technology function.
- Liaise with regional Digital Transformation and IT initiatives.
- Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and motivate a team of highly talented engineers, data specialists and IT professionals.
- Ensure the effective management of the processes, systems and people required to design, develop, deliver, and improve technology services across the business now and in the future.
- Maintain and rationalise IT budget for efficient use of capital, rationalise insourcing and outsourcing to balance sustainability and cost efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and optimise internal tools to improve business processes.
- Analyse the business requirements of all companies and departments to determine their technology needs.
- Propose and convince user buy-in on projects, communicate new features and enhancements to internal stakeholders.
- Define, establish, and implement scalable solutions to support key initiatives and stakeholders across ecosystem.
- Design and implement IT policies and strategies including, but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures (IT Operations), Change Requests Management, Access/Security Control, and Helpdesk Service Level Agreements.
- Own delivery of all IT initiatives including front-end user facing technologies and back-end operational technologies.
- Oversee the company’s infrastructure and technology platforms, including development of roadmap, specification of requirements, process workflow mapping, systems integration, and ongoing management, as well as modifications and enhancements.
- Effective development and management of a secure network that supports the growth of the organization, reduces the risk of outside breaches and protects sensitive internal and external client information.
- Manage existing vendors for IT procurement and review maintenance agreement.
- Any other duties as assigned and necessary.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related Technology based education

**Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
