**Field of activity**

Clearstream's investment funds services enable banks and other investment fund distributors to move towards standardisation, automation, and straight-through processing of investment fund orders. As part of the Global Funds Operations Team, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of investment funds on Clearstreams trading platforms for the ICSD business.

**Your responsibilities**
- Accept new investment funds (both Mutual and Alternative Funds) in the Clearstream system based on a comprehensive eligibility assessment
- Complete detailed fraud checks and robust AML/KYC on all new investment funds that are onboarded to the Clearstream platform
- Be aware of AML/KYC rules and specific regulatory Directives on account opening in the name of Clearstream
- Be extremely diligent in populating and maintain reference data for all available funds which are used by Clearstream customers to place high value trades in the secondary market
- Handle complex customer queries, as second line of customer service, relating to the afore mentioned tasks
- Support new clients to onboard their new book of business and be able to discuss the business case behind supporting new markets and new fund types

**Our requirements**
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
- Possess University degree and/or a comparable qualification
- Ability to multi-task between Customer Service and operational activities
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Pro-active attitude with strong problem-solving skills, accuracy, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in an international environment
- Relevant banking experience and knowledge of investment funds is considered an advantage
- Customer oriented with excellent telephone, communication, and negotiation skills
- Working on early shift to support Australian market may be required
- Expertise in international investment fund acceptance and regulatory / eligibility assessment is required
- Prior experience with Vestima system and funds business is preferred
