Cub Capital Pte. Ltd. (“Cub Capital”) is a leading investment company focusing on investing in early-stage companies across South East Asia (“SE Asia”). Quincus, Cricket One and The Luxe Nomad are notable companies within its portfolio.

As the Marketing Director of Cub Capital, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement the marketing strategy to build brand awareness across SE Asia. You’ll also work with portfolio founders to establish their brands and marketing strategies.

You will work in the fast-paced venture capital industry and understand it inside and out. Once identified, we ensure our founders have the best opportunities to succeed through coaching, mentoring, introductions and support.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the marketing and communication strategy and the campaign's rollout for Cub Capital fund across SE Asia’s startup ecosystem and globally.
- Define and build a long-term CRM program, including technical implementation on the relevant platform(s).
- Develop and manage all digital communications, including social media; build our fund social media following and reputation across all relevant platforms.
- Conduct extensive target audience and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities before developing a strategy.
- Support Cub Capital portfolio companies in building and executing relevant marketing strategies by providing expertise and empowering founder’s teams to succeed
- Manage relevant partners (agencies, designers, technical vendors, etc.) to ensure projects are executed and delivered within the deadline.
- Define, track and report on all marketing activity and KPIs monthly / annually.
- Manage the marketing budgets, ensuring all project components are delivered on schedule and budget.

Key Selection Criteria
- Bachelor's and Master’s Degree in Business or Marketing, or minimum 10 years experience in marketing.
- Experience working in both established companies and the startup world; experience of being a founder yourself is an advantage.
- Proven track record of developing marketing programs across countries / globally.
- Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing, including digital campaigns and content creation.
- Confident with strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to handle multiple complex projects concurrently and deliver on time.
- Excellent communication skills, able to distil analysis down for founders and investment partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with senior management internally and externally.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong influencing skills - can convince rather than instruct.
- Able to be very hands-on and work with a small team.
- Creative and imaginative but can also manage and create processes for the organisation to follow.
- Excellent interpersonal, communicative, consultation, and negotiation skills, with an interest in venture capital.
- Disciplined and resourceful, with the ability to think laterally and solve problems creatively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoints or equivalent.
- Strong understanding and experience in managing budgets.
