About the team
Risk control team is responsible for performing risk identification and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across ByteDance global functions. The team's mission is to be a trusted advisor and add tangible value to the company through insightful and comprehensive risk management practices and proactive internal controls advisory support.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Participate in the analysis of company policies, identify management risk through thorough understanding of policy content and context, data processing and cross-policy analysis.
2. Provide implementable solutions for policy related issues identified.
3. Complete daily tasks such as assisting stakeholders with publishing, updating and revoking policies, review policies before publication.
4. Assist stakeholders with policy consultation, comment collection, approval list, approver adequacy and review of policy content.
5. Constantly improve and update policy management rules and guidelines with the rapid development of the company, taking into account internal management concerns and external regulatory compliance.
6. Maintain the policy information in the policy management systems and database and be responsible for the regular collation and synchronization of relevant data.
7. Work with product managers to push feature releases and fix bugs in policy management systems and database.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree or above.
2. Exceptional proficiency and exemplary communication skills in English due to business need.
3. Demonstrates strong professional ethics, embraces challenges and thrives under pressure.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Advantageous to have 2+ years of internal controls experience and/or risk management experience is preferred.
2. Experienced in legal compliance or policy management.
3. Experienced in data analysis, and familiar with common data analytics tools.
