Join ByteDance's Risk Control team to lead global risk management projects and enhance internal controls across business units. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Leading global projects to review policies, define processes, identify risks, controls, and opportunities for enhancement across business units. Providing control guidance during business process changes and contributing to company-wide initiatives and risk management activities. Fostering and maintaining relationships with key business stakeholders to address key risks and improve the control environment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including all three lines of defence, for data-driven risk advisory support, process enhancements, and root cause analysis for fraud prevention. Promoting a risk-aware culture through proactive engagement with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners, staying updated on emerging technology, industry trends, and risks. About You The company is looking for candidates with: Experience in internal controls, risk management, consulting, business process improvement, and/or internal audit; experience in e-commerce, media, tech, or entertainment preferred. Project management skills, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and remediation, to support Risk Control initiatives. Ability to prioritize and manage ongoing projects, stakeholders, team capacity, business requests, and incidents. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience as a trusted risk business partner in ambiguous situations. Preferred: Ability to quickly understand and document unfamiliar business processes, passion for working with large data sets, excellent structured thinking and communication skills, ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments, experience working across countries and regions, and ability to communicate with global staff and senior leadership independently.
