We deliver business-essential intelligence reports based on our keen analyses of various media outlets across traditional and social media channels. We always strive to break new grounds, constantly focusing on solution-oriented approaches and at the same time developing every individual to his or her full capacity. **Role: Media Analyst (Chinese Proficiency)** **What You'll Do**: - Conduct quantitative and qualitative media data analysis, for the purpose of providing clients with insight into their brand perception, media performance, competitor landscape, campaign performance, industry / consumer insights reports etc. - Manage your portfolio of monthly/quarterly projects and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the delivery process - Analyse mainstream media and social media content to draw meaningful insights which help with furthering our clients' strategic communications goals - Utilise our Meltwater proprietary software, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint extensively, to cover end-to-end process of extracting raw data, uncovering insights, and delivering reports in a digestible format to clients - Play an integral role of working cohesively with your team to ensure all deliverables and tasks are completed in good quality and well within deadlines - Brainstorm and strategize ways to evolve & improve report quality and objectives, catering to clients’ changing requirements or feedback - Work closely and interdependently with your internal team, Enterprise clients and Account Managers with a shared purpose of value-adding to clients **Who You Are**: - **Strong proficiency in Chinese language (for translations into English)**, and effectively bilingual in both English and Chinese language - Able to work flexible hours / rotational shifts, & must be currently residing in Singapore - Attained Bachelor's Degree (in any discipline) - Entry level / have up to 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience (client facing roles is a plus) - Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc. - Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative reporting - Keen interest in current affairs, mainstream media, and social media - Derive great enjoyment being in a client servicing role with a naturally strong customer focus - Able to think critically - look at numbers, trends, and data and come to conclusions based on the findings - Meticulous - have an eye for detail, ensure data integrity & precision, and exercise vigilance in the analysis to come to correct conclusions - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Studio is a plus **What We Offer**: - Competitive remuneration package - Fast career progression & empowerment in your role - Flat hierarchy with diverse, high-performance & collaborative teams - Global presence & a uniquely Meltwater culture like no other - Both flexible work arrangements & vibrant offices with well-stocked pantries - Generous vacation leave, birthday leave, maternity and paternity leave - Work-life balance (#LI-ALSG) WORK WITH GREAT PEOPLE - NARESH NEHVIN Managing Director, Client Acquisition - "Meltwater has empowered me as a professional and individual.
