**Summary of the role**
- The role encompasses a lead role in global planning for a client.
- In addition to leading the strategy and planning product offering for the client, as part of the Singapore leadership team the role includes development of the PHD planning capability, as well as having an influence in the broader agency’s issues.

**Responsibilities**
- The Strategy Director will be responsible for overseeing the day to day relationship with the clients’ Global Brand and Media teams in their categories and managing the team to deliver against these requirements.
- At the heart of the role will be the development of category/brand communications architecture/principles and brand communications plans.
- The Strategy Director will also be responsible for ensuring the team’s output is effectively cascaded into local markets and adopted.
- You will be able to quickly establish credible relationships with your senior client and creative agency counterparts to effectively position PHD as a valued strategic partner
- The Strategy Director will oversee delivery of information in response to ad hoc requests from client Brand teams (eg. New market opportunities; new media & technology opportunities) and be actively involved in major strategic projects as/when they arise.
- There is also a requirement to be an active contributor to the PHD strategic team - collaborating with peers across the office.

**Experience required**
- 10 years’ + experience in a strategic / account handling role - most recently in a strategy director position.
- Strong on media strategy. You must have a clear understanding of evidence-based media planning and how this impacts on media guidelines / principles.
- An understanding of all marketing communication channels (including digital and content).
- A strong team leader who is able to deal confidently with clients and creative agency counterparts.
- Experience in leading and developing a team and working with specialists.
- A collaborative team player who can work with the PHD team to help further develop our product and delivery.
- A clear and confident communicator. You must have strong spoken / written English.
- International experience would be an advantage but not a prerequisite. Experience working with developing / emerging markets would also be a strong advantage.
