**Position Overview**:
SeaSafe Marine has a vacancy for a Spares Parts Coordinator to join our busy and growing service team in Singapore. Ideally you would have a background dealing with marine equipment spare parts as a technical purchaser or a technical assistant in either a marine service provider, a equipment manufacturer or a technical ship manager.

This can be a demanding and challenging role requiring proactive an effective support to our service teams and customers in identifying, promoting and providing solutions for their spare part needs.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Receive, identify and process spares enquiries.
- Be proactive in seeking spare parts orders.
- Be proactive in promoting recommended spare parts as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist in engineer post job debriefs to identify any spares opportunities for follow-up.
- Work together with customers to identify forward planning needs and supply of parts.
- Assist the Service Manager / Technical Manager in identifying spares required for each project
- Assist the Service Department in the preparation of quotations for materials required for service projects when requested
- Prepare and submit quotations.
- Price the materials used by the Service Engineers
- Prepare and print sales orders, identifying the source and cost prices
- Arrange proforma invoice payment, where required.
- Utilise the original supplier or seek alternative suppliers with the approval of the Service Manager / Technical Manager
- Assist the Service Manager / Technical Manager in locating data for the original product
- Advise the Service Manager / Technical Manager of items of which re-order level is not reflected in their usage
- Advise the Service Manager / Technical Manager of items requiring or approaching re-order levels
- Ensure stock item re-ordering is conducted as necessary
- Ensure that the relevant certification required for an order is identified and available for each component
- Arrange delivery / dispatch of spares as per job order
- Assist the Accounts Administrator in preparation of spares sales invoices
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that best commercial prices and terms are obtained.
